Petenwell County Park is open year around with heated shower and restroom facilities. Lake Petenwell contains the 2nd largest body of water in Wisconsin. This 431 acre park contains a beautiful lake, game room, designated swimming area, boat launch, playground equipment and hiking trails. Heated showers and restroom facilities was recently added. The park is located 17 miles northwest of Friendship. To get there, go 9 miles north of Friendship on Highway 13, west 6.5 miles on County Trunk C, turn north on Country Trunk Z for ½ mile, and turn left and go 1/4 mile on Big Horn Drive. Castle Rock County Park is open April 15 through November 1. This 141 acre park contains the 4th largest body of water in Wisconsin. The park also includes a designated swimming area, boat launch, game room, playground equipment, showers and restroom facilities. The park is located 7 miles southwest of Friendship.
